Position: Construction Superintendent

Position Overview:  The Construction Superintendent is responsible for onsite oversight of all phases of pool construction projects, including coordination with vendors and other trade partners, onsite consulting, materials, and equipment. You will also be responsible for guaranteeing that construction plans and specifications are strictly followed, and that work proceeds on schedule while maintaining a high-level of quality.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ experience as a successful Construction Superintendent
  • Pool and spa construction experience preferred
  • Driver’s license required
  • Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the quality standard is maintained on all worksites
  • Provide direction and problem resolution amongst trade partners, and ensuring they are executing and complying with contracted scope of work
  • Ordering materials and equipment in a timely manner to avoid any disruption to the schedule
  • Coordinating and conducting required inspections with governing municipalities
  • Communicating with Pool Construction Coordinator regarding scheduling, RFI’s, and change order submittals
  • Keeping necessary logs and documentation on all matters related to the construction sites
  • Identifying and resolving noncompliance of safety, health, and environmental requirements
  • Making certain that job sites are kept in a clean, safe, and organized manner
  • Overseeing the daily opening and closing of multiple job sites
  • Presiding over weekly job site meetings and regular safety meetings
  • Oversee construction equipment and inventory

  • Monday – Friday: 7:30am – 4:00pm
